Sheikh Qassem stressed on Tuesday that the US and Israel “will not achieve their goals”

Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem on Tuesday commented on a report concerning the alleged exposure of US Central Intelligence Agency informants in Lebanon, saying that “America is attempting to molest the stability of Lebanon.”

“[The US] is trying to mess with the stability of Lebanon and interfere to serve Israeli interests,” sheikh Qassem said.

He added that “such an issue reflects the failure of [the US] to achieve its will.”

“They justify [their failure] by saying that their [spy] networks were exposed.”

Qassem also stressed that the US and Israel “will not achieve their goals” in the Middle East.
