Iran Threatens NATO, Decides to Expel British Ambassador

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards’ Air Force Commander General Amer Ali Hajizadeh warned that the NATO’s missile defense installations in Turkey could be Iran’s target if his country was exposed to any military threat.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guards’ Air Force Commander General Amer Ali Hajizadeh warned that the NATO’s missile defense installations in Turkey could be Iran’s target if his country was exposed to any military threat.

In a speech he delivered before Basij units West Iran, Hajizadeh assured that Iran’s stance from now on will be “to respond to every threat by a threat.”

In parallel, the air force commander has announced Monday that the Iranian Revolutionary Guards’ dream is that the Zionist entity strikes Iran so that it could respond and “throw it in the ash heap of history”.

On the other hand, Iran’s Parliament voted Sunday to expel Britain's ambassador in retaliation for the fresh Western sanctions imposed against the country over its nuclear program.

A majority of 179 lawmakers voted in favor of reducing diplomatic relations to the more junior level of charge d'affaires within two weeks and paring economic relations with Britain to a minimum, AFP reported.

The lawmakers further raised the possibility of punishing "other countries that behave in a manner similar to that of Britain", while Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani commented on this step saying that “Britain should know that this is only the beginning”.
