During an Ashoura’ funeral in the Lebanese village of Sohmor in western Beqaa, Raad believed that Syrian and Lebanese oppositions adopt the same principles of collusion.

“If it were not for Resistance, [Lebanese] land would not have been liberated. A conspiracy is confronting us…that in the end will be defeated.”

Addressing Borhan Ghalyoun – head of Syrian opposition, Raad said “now you come with your good news that if you are in power you’ll open negotiations in order to regain the Golan Heights!”

“They may give it to you [Ghalyoun], as they returned the Sinai to Sadat. But they will take all Syria, just like they took all Egypt," he added.

Raad stated that there are people in Lebanon who bother others by their insults, "but all what they are doing is not only the noise of flies.”

"If we passed time with those small, we would be distracted from facing the leaders. Facing adults is more priority to us than facing those kids. We think now of Israel and the US, and no one can draw our attention,” the Lebanese MP stated.

He also said that the conspiracy targeting the Resistance is planned by the West and some Arabs, adding that the Resistance can defeat all conspirators.
