On the 10th day of Muharram Imam Hussein (as), his household, and friends were martyred in the land of Karbala by the army of Yazid who was a tyrant corrupt leader who ruled under the name of Islam.

Lovers and supporters of Imam Hussein (as) in all parts of the world gather on this day, mourn the Imam, his Household, and friends, as well as the capture of the martyrs; ladies, and pray for Allah to hasten the appearance of Imam Mahdi (as) who will fight the tyrants of this time just as his grandfather Imam Hussein (as) fought the tyrant of his time.

Tens of thousands of mourners rallied in the Southern Suburbs of Beirut in a procession that will be concluded by a speech for Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah.
