In response to the statements made by some March 14 officials about the UN blast in Lebanon, Hezbollah issued a statement on Thursday.
In response to the statements made by some March 14 officials about the blast which targeted French U.N. peacekeepers last week in Southern Lebanon, Hezbollah stressed Thursday those statements “are dangerous and unacceptable.”
“The dangerous and unacceptable statements” made by some March 14 officials are a sign that they “are part of the scheme targeting the Resistance’s fighters,” Hezbollah statement read.
“What this team is doing is not new,” it added. “We have gotten used to its political accusations without presenting any evidence.”
“March 14 officials are not offering an analysis” for the incident, “they are directly accusing (Hezbollah) without taking into consideration the consequences,” the statement continued.
“Hezbollah condemns those political accusations and warns against the dangers of this behavior and its consequences on the country and its citizens,” it concluded.
