A delegation assigned by Maronite Patriarch Mar Beshara Boutros Al-Rai visited Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah Monday, and discussed with him the latest local and regional developments.

A delegation, assigned by the Maronite Patriarch Mar Beshara Boutros Al-Rai, visited Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah Monday, and discussed with him the latest local and regional developments.

The delegation that included Maronite Bishop Boulos Mattar, and members of Bkerki’s committee for dialogue with Hezbollah, Samir Mathloum and Hareth Shehab, met with Sayyed Nasrallah in presence of member of Hezbollah political bureau Ghaleb Abu Zainab.

The delegation thanked Sayyed Nasrallah for having sent earlier a delegation to congratulate Patriarch Al-Rai after his election, in addition to the massive popular receptions that were prepared for the patriarch during his visits to several Lebanese towns, specifically in the South and Baalbek.

The two parts further discussed the latest local and regional developments, and agreed to keep their contact and communication over various issues.
