Hezbollah on Monday issued a statement condemning the Jewish Knesset’s draft plan to declare Jerusalem as the eternal and united capital of the Occupying entity and the Jewish people.

“This racist law constitutes an assault and a provocation against more than three billion Muslims and Christians around the world,” the statement read.

Hezbollah also questioned what the role of the Arab League will be regarding the matter, and “to what extent it is willing to [address] it before the United Nations.”

Hezbollah called upon the world's governments and leaders to assume their full responsibilities in stopping the aggressive Zionist project so as not to be partners in it.

The party also called for a wider Arab and Islamic campaign of solidarity with Jerusalem, to express safeguard and protect for its existence and identity.
