Palestinian Prime Minister in Gaza Ismail Haniyeh delivered a speech Monday on board of the Turkish flotilla which was attacked by the Israeli navy in 2010 while it was trying to break the Gaza siege.
Haniyeh toured the Mavi Marmara and hailed the martyrs who were killed by the Israeli occupation soldiers.
“Your martyrs are our martyrs, your blood is our blood, your wounds are our wounds," Haniya said before a crowd of supporters who gathered near the vessel in Istanbul's port.
He addressed the Zionist occupation saying: “Israel, the invader: you may have stopped the Mavi Marmara from reaching Gaza, but Gaza is now meeting with Mavi Marmara.”
The Palestinian PM in Gaza arrived to Turkey after having completed his visits to Egypt and Sudan.
Haniyeh is scheduled to visit Tunisia, Bahrain, and Qatar as part of the regional tour that he began with last week.
