An armed group exploded Friday a diesel transfer pipeline extending from Homs to Hama and Idleb, SANA reported.
The Syrian news agency quoted an official source at the Ministry of Petroleum as saying that “the sabotaged 20- diameter pipeline is affiliated to a fuel company and transfers diesel from Homs to warehouses of a fuel company in Hama."
“The pumping was immediately stooped after the explosion and the fire extinguished,” the source clarified, adding that “the concerned authorities started repair works in preparation for the resumption of pumping oil after the completion of the repair works scheduled to end on Saturday.”
