Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal was in Cairo Friday to discuss Palestinian reconciliation efforts with Egyptian officials and the Arab League.

Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal was in Cairo Friday to discuss Palestinian reconciliation efforts with Egyptian officials and the Arab League.

"Hamas is committed to achieving reconciliation to end the Palestinian division, form a government, hold elections and release all detainees," Meshaal said after talks with Arab League chief Nabil al-Arabi.
