Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi is scheduled to make a trip to Ankara on January 18 to discuss the country’s nuclear issue and the latest regional developments with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.

Davutoglu, in his visit to Tehran on January 4 and 5, carried a message from EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton to Iranian officials for a resumption of nuclear talks.

The Turkish foreign minister has recently announced that Turkey will host new rounds of talks between Iran and the P5+1 group (the United States, Britain, France, Russia, China, and Germany) in the near future.
