Lebanese to Loyalty to the Resistance bloc leader MP Mohammad Raad on Monday commented on UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon’s statement that there is concern about the military prowess of Hezbollah.

“Ban thinks that the weapons of the Resistance are harmful but does not think that the weapons in the hand of gunmen in Syria are harmful. Ban is an employee who works for specific direction” the National News Agency quoted Raad as saying.

Asked about the visit of Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, Raad said: “(Turkey) thinks that the crisis can be resolved by providing funds and weapons to the gunmen, while (Hezbollah) thinks that there is still a chance to implement reforms through dialogue.”

Raad expressed beliefs that both Ban’s and Davutoglu’s statements were not more than double-standard political stances.
