A US drone strike killed four people in Pakistan’s northwestern tribal belt on Tuesday, as it destroyed their vehicle, local security said.
"It was a US drone strike, which targeted a militant's vehicle, killing four rebels," a senior local security official told AFP.
The strike took place in Spalga village, 15 kilometers south of Miranshah, the main town of the North Waziristan tribal district, near the Afghan border.
Another security official confirmed the strike and said the drone fired two missiles.
