Tens of thousands of Yemenis Protested Sunday against President Ali Abdullah Saleh and against the immunity law he was given.

The protesters demanded the execution of Saleh, chanting “"It is our duty... to execute the butcher,” in Sanaa’s Change Square.

Yemen’s parliament has approved on Saturday a law that granted Ali Abdullah Saleh, who will step down from power next month, complete immunity from prosecution as part of a Gulf-brokered transition deal.

The law also offers partial protection from legal action for Saleh's aides, stating his lieutenants cannot be charged for "actions that were politically motivated and carried out in the exercise of their duties."
