China denounced the European Union’s new unilateral sanctions against the Islamic Republic over the country’s nuclear program as blind pressure and unconstructive
China denounced on Thursday the European Union's new unilateral sanctions against the Islamic Republic over the country's nuclear program as blind pressure and unconstructive.
“To blindly pressure and impose sanctions on Iran are not constructive approaches," the Chinese foreign ministry said in reaction to EU's recent measure against Iran.
The United States and its allies have been accusing Tehran of pursuing a military nuclear program, and have used the allegation to impose four rounds of UN Security Council sanctions on the Islamic Republic and to take more unilateral measures against the country.
