Abbas Laments PA-Israel Talks

Acting Palestinian Authority (PA) chief Mahmoud Abbas has said that the talks between Palestinian Authority officials and the Zionist regime have ended inconclusively in Jordan

Acting Palestinian Authority (PA) chief Mahmoud Abbas has said that the talks between Palestinian Authority officials and the Zionist regime have ended inconclusively in Jordan.

After a meeting with Jordan's King Abdullah II in the capital Amman on Wednesday, Abbas said in a press conference that the Palestinian Authority would decide on the next steps of talks with Israelis during a meeting with the Arab League foreign ministers on February 4.

Abbas added that the PA is ready for talks on the issue of “security, on the condition that not a single Israeli will be on Palestinian land.”

On Saturday, Palestinian protesters held a demonstration in front of Abbas' office in the West Bank city of Ramallah to voice opposition to the latest round of talks with the Zionist entity.
