Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Al-Moallem met Wednesday with the Arab League observer mission chief Mohammad Ahmad Al-Dabbi, and assured Syria’s complete cooperation with the team, offering all facilitations to carry out its work.
According to Syrian news agency SANA, Al-Moallem and Al-Dabbi discussed the observer mission's work after Syria approval of extending it for another month.
For his part, Al-Dabbi briefed Al-Moallem on the report he submitted to the Arab foreign ministers earlier this week and the vision of the AL observer mission on the situation in Syria.
SANA reported that “Al-Dabbi further stressed the mission's commitment to neutrality and objectivity to implement the protocol signed between Syria and the Arab League.”
In contrast, Al-Moallem highlighted Syria’s responsibility to protect its citizens and put an end to the violence that is being practiced against civilians, security forces, as well as the private and public institutions.
