Israeli occupation forces demolished on Monday a home in east al-Quds (Jerusalem).
The home in the Arab neighborhood of Beit Hanina, was knocked down by bulldozers that moved in around 6.30 am (0430 GMT), according to the Samara family, who had been living in the building.
The structure, a makeshift house, was home to six people, the family said.
Israel regularly demolishes homes in Arab east al-Quds and the areas of the West Bank, claiming the buildings are constructed without the required permits.
The Palestinians say it is virtually impossible for them to get permission to build in Arab quarters of al-Quds and areas of the West Bank.
Rights groups and international organizations including the UN have called on Israel to end such demolitions, saying they cause extensive human suffering.
