Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi on Tuesday unveiled two important defense projects on the threshold of the 33th victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, Iranian news agency IRNA reported.
The minister inaugurated the mass production line of black boxes suitable for several kinds of aircraft and also a project to improve the intelligent anti-air systems for low altitudes.
Addressing the ceremony, Vahidi appreciated efforts of young Iranian scientists in developing the projects which he said are regarded as big steps in self-sufficiency of the domestic defense industries.
He also referred to inauguration of the projects as clear signs of inefficiency of sanctions against Iran and stressed that with intensification of sanctions, the will and abilities of the Iranian experts will become stronger.
