Israeli President Shimon Peres emphasized Iran’s threat to the Zionist entity’s national security during the opening of the Herzliya conference, dubbing the Islamic Republic’s leaders “evil” and its nuclear ambitions “the world’s single most important issue”.
According to the Zionist website Haaretz, Peres impudently referred to Iran's nuclear program as "ours and the world's central problem at this time,” and accused Iran of “attempting to achieve regional and global hegemony."
The occupying entity’s president further warned that "nuclear weapons must not be allowed to fall into the hands of the Iranians, hinting at the possibility of a military strike against Iran's nuclear facilities.
