Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani threatened Wednesday to cut the hand of anyone who seeks adventure in the Strait of Hormuz.
Addressing an open session of the parliament, Larijani said that “the recent statements made by the US and the West about the Strait of Hormuz show that they are frightened by the awe of the Revolution, otherwise the Iranian nation considers the Strait of Hormuz as the strait of peace", Fars news agency reported.
“The Iranian nation is determined to cut the hand of those who seek adventurism in the Persian Gulf, the Sea of Oman and the Strait of Hormuz,” the Iranian parliament speaker further warned.
On another level, Larijani remembered the late Imam Ruhollah Khomeini in the anniversary of the Islamic revolution’s victory, noting that the late Imam was the father of the revolution.
Moreover, he considered that “the continuous emergence of revolutions in the region is the result of Iran’s Islamic Revolution,” adding that “the late Imam introduced the real identity of such a big idol as the US to people, and never deviated from the right path and course of his enlightening combat.”
Larijani also pointed out that “the spirit of fighting the Big Satan was first initiated by Imam Khomeini more than three decades ago, the fruit of which is the awakening of Muslim nations.”
