“The system's flight data recorder can store and process up to 2,200 hours of data and 40 hours of cockpit voice recording. It can also handle 30 cameras in an aircraft cabin, and record up to ten hours of images and audio,” he added.
Another line dedicated to optimizing and overhauling low-altitude smart air defense systems also went on stream during the ceremony.
“The latest air defense systems are able to detect drones, radar-evading aircraft and cruise missiles,” Brigadier General Esmaeili pointed out.
Pak. Media covered Iran’s achievements widely
It was obvious that Pakistani media have given wide coverage to Iran’s manufacturing of laser-guided artillery shells. An English newspaper ‘Daily Times’ reported that Iran has manufactured laser-guided artillery shells that were capable of spotting and hitting moving targets with a high degree of precision, IRNA indicated.
“Besides America and Russia, there are only three other countries which have this technology,” Vahidi was quoted as saying during the unveiling ceremony.
Another major news daily ‘The Nation’ reported that Iran has developed laser-guided artillery rounds designed to home in on stationary or moving targets at a distance of up to 20 kilometres (12 miles).
‘Pakistan Today’ in its report said that Iran has developed laser-guided artillery shells capable of spotting and hitting moving targets with a high degree of precision.
Urdu leading news daily ‘Jang’ reported that Iran has manufactured laser-guided artillery shells having high degree of precision. Daily ‘Nawa-i-waqt’ also reported about the artillery shells in its news.
