Syrian President Bashar al-Assad visited on Tuesday Syrian security personnel, who were injured in clashes with terrorist groups and are now receiving treatment in Martyr Yousef al-Azmeh Hospital in Damascus.
The Syrian President praised the courage and sense of duty of all Syrian troops and expressed gratitude for their efforts in defending civilians and the country against terrorists.
He also gave orders for the injured servicemen to be provided with whatever care they needed.
The injured soldiers told Assad that they are determined to protect their country and that they will return to their posts after recovering.
Syrian state television has also aired confessions by terrorists admitting to receiving money from foreign element to open fire on civilians and security troops in order to tarnish the image of the Syrian government.
