Four NATO occupation soldiers were killed in separate attacks across Afghanistan, taking the death toll of occupation troops to be killed in the war-torn country so far this year to 60.

Four NATO occupation soldiers were killed in separate attacks across Afghanistan, taking the death toll of occupation troops to be killed in the war-torn country so far this year to 60.

Three of the soldiers were killed in separate improvised bomb blasts in the west, south and east of Afghanistan, the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said.
A fourth soldier was killed in a firefight against rebels in the country's east, ISAF added.

Over 60 international soldiers have been killed so far this year in Afghanistan, according to independent website iCasualties.org.
Last year, the total stood at 712 dead, the deadliest year for international troops since the US-led invasion in 2001.
