According to the ministry’s Press Bureau, Salehi underlined the role of Nabih Berri in Lebanon’s internal affairs and region and hailed his support for the resistance movement.
Predicting a bright future for regional developments with the establishment of governments based on nations’ wills, Salehi also underlined strengthening interaction among the Muslim nations.
Hamdan, who is a member of Amal Movement’s presiding board, for his part, appreciated Iran’s support for the resistance movement in the region.
Referring to the enemies’ plots against the Islamic World, especially the Zionists, to sow discord among the Muslim nations and undermine the issue of Palestine, he hoped that anti-Zionist front in the region will be further strengthened through Iran’s support and nations’ vigilance.
He also presented a report on the latest efforts to determine the fate of Imam Mousa Sadr by the country’s government and called for Iran’s continued support to pursue the issue.
