Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Sunday renewed Iran's support for liberation of occupied Palestinian territories.
He made his remarks in a meeting with visiting Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh.
Ahmadinejad said the Zionist regime and its supporters have acute weak points and that resistance is the only way to liberate occupied Palestinian territories and Holy Qods al-Sharif.
“The Zionist regime is a means for the global arrogance to suppress the Muslims worldwide and Palestine represents resistance of entire Muslims to the occupying Zionist regime,” he said.
Ahmadinejad stated that humanity is currently going through a critical period, where resistance must withstand the hegemonic powers in order to make justice prevail in the world.
Haniyeh felicitated the Iranian President on the 33rd anniversary of victory of the Islamic Revolution.
The Palestinian prime minister said that presence of millions of people in the streets to celebrate anniversary of the triumph of the Islamic Revolution heralds a promising future and would serve as an invaluable backing for the resistance of the Palestinian people to Israeli occupation.
Haniyeh said that the Palestinian people's national resolve and resistance over the past 60 years proved that they will not allow even an inch of their territories to remain under occupation.
