Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast assured Tuesday that targeting the Israeli embassies in India and Georgia was a Zionist scenario that aimed at distorting Iran’s image.
According to Mehr news agency, Mehmanparast rejected the Zionist entity’s claims that Iran was involved in the bomb attacks that took place Monday in New Delhi and Tbilisi, and warned the entity and its supporters of “such terrorist scenarios and practices”.
“They should realize that any unmeasured and irrational step will lead to a decisive response,” he pointed out.
The Iranian foreign ministry spokesman further said that “the Zionist entity is the origin of terror in the world, and sees that the continuity of its illegitimate life depends on terror and dangerous adventures.”
Moreover, Mehmanparast clarified that “from our perspective, the Zionist entity and its protectors, are the main suspects in the terror attacks; and accusing the Islamic Republic of Iran of being involved in the latest events has no basis, and it seems that these suspicious acts were planned by Zionist officials in order to distort the image of the Islamic Republic.”
“The Islamic Republic of Iran is the greatest victim of terror, and it had constantly condemned terrorist attacks. The Zionist entity’s latest sedition is rather an effort to divert the public opinion away from this entity’s terrorist practices in the occupied territories and in assassinating Iranian scholars,” he stressed.
Mehmanparast also condemned some Western states’ support to Zionist practices, considering that this reinforces terror in the world.
