All Problems in Region Are Imposed from Outside: Ahmadinejad

President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad assured Friday that the countries in the region should cooperate in order to achieve development.

President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad assured Friday that the countries in the region should cooperate in order to achieve development, considering that “all the problems we are facing are from outside the region.

In a joint press conference with his Pakistani and Afghani counterparts in Islamabad, Ahmadinejad pointed out that the atomic bomb is not a topic for discussion because it should not be used by any country.

“Our relations with the governments and people in the region exceed politics, the nuclear bomb, and even economic issues, and are rather humanitarian, historical and cultural based relations,” IRNA quoted the Iranian president as saying.

In parallel, he stressed that “putting an end to arrogance in the political relations in the world, and spreading peace and brotherhood are among the common goals of the governments and people in Iran, Pakistan, and Afghanistan."

Considering that there are no deep-rooted problems between the people in the region, Ahmadinejad stated that “all the problems and issues come from outside the region, and the people should know that their problems are actually imposed from outside.”

“Those who want to dominate the world are working on causing trouble in our region in order to achieve their goals,” he added, pointing out that “they don’t allow is to develop because they want us to be in need of them.”
