Hezbollah slams the escalating Zionist attack targeting the sanctities of Muslims and Christians in the occupied Palestine.
In a statement issued Monday, Hezbollah pointed out that "the enemy continues his criminal settlement attacks to Judaize al-Quds its holy sites, rooting out neighborhoods and seizing lands along the occupied Palestine, while the occupation encourages the settlers to break into the Al-Aqsa Mosque and desecrate the holy Islamic and Christian holy sites."
Hezbollah denounced "the hundreds of settlers who storm al-Aqsa Mosque and other Israelis who wrote slogans and phrases offensive to the holy prophet Jesus Christ (AS) and Christianity on the walls of the Baptist Church in Jerusalem," the statement read.
"Gaza city is not safe from aggression, as over the last few days has witnessed a series of Zionist air strikes, martyring and wounding many Gazans," Hezbollah added.
"The enemy’s persistence to commit aggressive actions is clear indication of taking advantage of the developments in the region, in order to implement the ugliest phases of its criminal scheme to root out the Palestinian cause and Judaize the holy Islamic and Christian sites and desecrate them.”
"The enemy is assured that Arab leaders and Arab League will neither be bothered to declare a stance condemning the attack, nor act to prevent it," Hezbollah stated.
The statement also called upon Arab and Islamic peoples to take the initiative and pressure on their governments to act against the Zionist enemy," stressing "the need to raise the voice and organize protests in support of al-Quds, Palestine and its holy Islamic and Christian sites."
“Silence of the international community and the United Nations before Zionist violations makes them partners in the aggression and thus in the position of responsibility for the serious repercussions that would ensue from such gross violations against the Islamic and Christian sanctities in the occupied Palestine," Hezbollah concluded.
