Islamic Jihad praised hunger-striking prisoner Hana Shalabi in a statement on Monday.

"We never trusted the Israeli intelligence and we will never do, they said that they decreased the detention period for Hana but they didn't set a date for her freedom and that is not trustworthy, and at any time they can detain her again."

The group said that her hunger strike is a victory for all Palestinian detainees.
