Secretary of Supreme National Security Council of Iran Saeed Jalili said Wednesday that Iran welcomes political will of Group 5+1 to return to negotiating table.

Secretary of Supreme National Security Council of Iran Saeed Jalili said in a letter forwarded to EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton on Wednesday that Iran welcomes political will of Group 5+1 to return to negotiating table.

Jalili called for regular contacts by the two parties’ representatives to set the venue and time of the upcoming talks.

Jalili reiterated Iran's interest in constructive and unconditional talks in line with developing sustainable cooperation between the two parties.

Jalili, in the meantime, welcomed Ashton's statement respecting Iranian nuclear rights in line with Non-Proliferation Treaty.

The Iranian chief negotiator said that constructive talks would help bring about sustainable cooperation in the process of dialogue.
