Syrian people has flocked to main squares and streets Thursday morning in different provinces to participate in the Global March for Syria. Satellite channels have broadcast images of the huge crowds taking part in the march.

Syrian activists have called on Syrians to organize a number of rallies in public squares in all provinces Thursday "to express their love for their country", marking the first anniversary of the unrest in the country.

On their Facebook page “Like for Syria”, the activists called upon the Syrians at home to demonstrate Thursday, and the Syrians abroad to organize rallies Friday and Saturday.

"From the land of peace, we will begin our Global March for Syria in March 15," they wrote on their wall.
