Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour assured to Al-Manar TV that “the bombings in Damascus and Aleppo are terrorist acts… but they will not undermine Syria's determination to achieve security and stability."

In a statement he made before leaving for a three-day visit to Moscow, Mansour indicated that “Lebanon had faced similar incidents before.”

However, he stressed that these would not achieve any goal and will not undermine Syria's security, unity and stability.

The Lebanese FM reiterated Lebanon's support to Syria's leadership and people, adding that “these bombings will not stop the Syrian leadership from continuing its reforms.”

Moreover, Mansour praised the Russian stance on Syria, reassuring “Lebanon's opposition to any foreign intervention in Syria.”

In parallel, he stated that “Lebanon will not be participating in the so-called "friends of Syria" conference” which will be held in Istanbul next month.”
