After meeting with Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour, Abdul Karim pointed to the “internal achievements that Syria is accomplishing as well as its adherence to the international envoy’s mission and to national dialogue.”
Syrian Ambassador in Lebanon Ali Abdul Karim assured Thursday that “Syria has welcomed international envoy Kofi Annan’s mission, and it is working on ground to manage its internal issues and deal with the repercussions of this dangerous conspiracy," indicating that Damascus is totally confident of the success it has achieved in this field.
After meeting with Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour, Abdul Karim pointed to the “internal achievements that Syria is accomplishing as well as its adherence to the international envoy’s mission and to national dialogue.”
He added in a statement he made that the conspiracy that some international and regional wagerers drew will fail in achieving its goals, “because with its internal firmness, awareness, successful management, and sorting of friends, Syria turned this international battle and conspiracy to have positive effects on it.”
Furthermore, the Syrian ambassador indicated his country’s serious reforms, as well as its persistence in confronting extremism.
“The wide popular awareness and cooperation and the reforms presented bring security and stability, and all spites will harm their fabricators,” he said.
