Palestinian security sources said that a group of 40 settlers entered Burqin, a town west of Jenin north of the occupied territory, and clashed with residents there.

Sources added that 14-year-old Hassan Balkawi was hit in the shoulder by a bullet after at least one settler opened fire.
Israeli occupation army intervened and then forces settlers to leave the area, the sources added.

However, an occupation military spokesman told Agence France Press that brief incidents happened between Israelis and Palestinians in Burqin”.

However the spokesman denied that a Palestinian was shot.
“The army did not intervene, and I have not been informed that a Palestinian was shot", he said.
