Palestinian detainee Hana Shalabi assured from Maer Hospital in occupied Palestine that she will continue in her hunger strike and will triumph over the occupation, sending her greets to all those who stand in solidarity with her and to the Palestinian people.
Shalabi made these remarks during a visit by head of the legal unit in the Prisoner Club, Lawyer Jawad Boulos who assured that the Palestinian prisoner’s health is at risk.
Boulos informed Shalabi about the decision of the military court’s judge who rejected her appeal, and that a petition in her name was submitted to the Israeli Supreme Court.
For her part, Shalabi expressed her resentment and anger at the military court’s decision and her lack of trust in it.
The Palestinian lawyer pointed out that Shalabi suffered nose bleeds and sores in her mouth, which had raised her concerns, and added that “the director of Physicians for Human Rights had visited her and prescribed vitamins to be added to the water she still drinks.”
Boulos also stated that “the hospital will keep her for a few more days to monitor her condition.”
