Syrian Foreign Ministry Spokesman stated Wednesday that his country will not cooperate with any Arab League decision after it was suspended from its membership in November.
Speaking to AFP, Jihad Al-Maqdissi assured that “Syria will not cooperate with any Arab League initiative at any level."
“Since its suspension from the Arab League, Syria has been dealing with member states on a bilateral level," he pointed out.
The Arab body, which Syria is one of its establishing countries, suspended Syria’s membership in November after the conflict erupted in the country.
The AL took a decision that supported the armed Syrian opposition, vowing not to return the membership unless President Bashar Al-Assad implemented it.
