Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour headed to Tripoli on Sunday morning in order to follow the case of Imam Sayyed Moussa Sadr and his two companions.
On the head of a Lebanese delegation, Mansour travelled to Libya to follow he investigations in this case, and to know the information that the new regime had gathered over the issue.
The delegation would also discuss the bilateral relations between the two countries following the fall of Muammar Gaddafi’s regime few months ago.
Imam Sayyed Moussa Sadr was disappeared in 1978 after he departed with Sheikh Mohammad Yaacoub and journalist Abbas Badreddine for Libya to meet with government officials there. It is widely believed that Gaddafi ordered Imam Sadr’s abduction.
