Hezbollah strongly denounced the attack on Lebanese press team of Al-Jadeed television network Monday on the border area with Syria inside the Lebanese territories , which claimed the life of the cameraman Ali Shaaban and injured his collegues Hussein Khreis and Abed Khayyat.

“Hezbollah expresses deep sorrow for the loss of the press colleague Ali Shaban, Al-Jadeed cameraman," a statement issued by Media Relations bureau late Monday said.

The statement condemned "the attack on the journalists who pay the tax for their courage in covering events,” as well as “the attack on press media that try to transfer events to the people."

Hezbollah also expressed "heartfelt condolences to the martyr’s parents, his colleagues in Al-Jadeed television and the press media in a whole,” praying to Allah Almighty to grant the martyr His mercy, and to inspire his fans the patience and fortitude."
