Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Al-Mouallem will make a two day visit to China upon an invitation by his Chinese counterpart, Syrian news agency SANA reported.

For its part, the Chinese Foreign Ministry issued a statement Tuesday announcing that Al-Mouallem will meet with Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi, and that the two parts will discuss enhancing bilateral relations and International Evony Kofi Annan’s mission.
