Hezbollah issued a statement Thursday in which it condemned the terrorist combings that hit Baghdad and other Iraqi cities, killing and injuring hundreds of innocents.

The statement considered that “these attacks implemented the American will which seeks death and destruction in Iraq to avenge its bitter defeat and submissive withdrawal.”

“These increasing crimes come after the latest political developments in Iraq, and aim at obstructing the building of the Iraqi state, and preventing the Iraqi people from investing in their natural resources,” Hezbollah added, urging the Iraqi people “to frustrate these criminals’ desires by holding on to their unity and overcoming any fragmentation attempt.”

Hezbollah concluded its statement by condemning “this hideous crime which reveals its’ committers’ barbarism.”
