Kuwait’s Ambassador to Tehran Majdi Al Dhufairi met on Saturday with Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and submitted him a written message from Kuwait Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Sabah calling for expansion of relations and cooperation with Iran.
According to the Information and Press Bureau of the ministry of foreign affairs, in the meeting, Salehi thanked for the message and conveyed his warm greetings to his Kuwaiti counterpart.
Referring to friendly and amicable ties between the two countries, Salehi expressed hope to witness formation of high commission between the two countries to help expand mutual relations and cooperation.
The Kuwaiti ambassador, for his part, voiced the firm determination of his country’s high ranking officials, mainly the country’s Emir and new premier to expand friendly relations between the two countries.
