Ahmadinejad: Language of Force Doesn’t Scare Us

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Saturday criticized the policies adopted by certain regional countries regarding the Zionist regime.

Iranian President Mahmoud AhmadinejadIranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said that Western officials are mistaken should they think they can bring the Iranian nation to their knees through using the language of force, Iranian Mehr news agency reported.

Addressing a large crowd of well-wishers in the city of Rashtkhar, in the northeastern Iranian Razavi Khorasan Province Friday, Ahmadinejad said the hegemonistic powers assume that if they use the language of force against the Iranian nation, the people will give in to threats and relinquish their rights.

“If the world’s rulers who are in a position of wealth and power worship the one God, they will no longer seek to stockpile chemical and nuclear weapons or to occupy other countries’ territories,” he added.

He went on to say that “they do not know how to talk about humanity and goodness because they worship Satan instead of God.”

The Iranian President condemned indifferent approach of some regional states regarding the savage crimes committed by the Zionist regime, state-run IRNA news agency reported.

He expressed sorry about the reaction of certain regional countries, which purchase weapons from the regime of occupation instead of opposing against its brutalities.

During another speech in Torbat-e Jam, Razavi Khorasan Province, on Thursday, Ahmadinejad said, “Today, we see that there are some around the world who raise hue and cry, put pressure, and ratify resolutions one after another (against Iran). All these attempts are meant to impede the progress of the Iranian nation and undermine their dignity,” Press TV reported.

“They should know that this nation will not retreat even an iota from their inalienable rights,” Ahmadinejad said.

However, he emphasized that the era of bullying has come to an end, adding that “It is to the benefit of the ill-wishers of the Iranian people to return to justice, and they should be aware that this nation has made all its enemies regret throughout history.”

Iran's president is visiting the province as part of his fourth round of provincial tours.

He made the initiative to visit the country's provinces when he took office for the first time in 2005.
