Assad Issues New Decree for First Legislative Term

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has issued Monday the decree No. 172 of 2012.

The new decree provides that the Syrian Parliament (People's Assembly) should convene on Thursday 24/ 5/ 2012, for its first legislative session.
