World Health Organization (WHO) called on the Israeli occupation Authorities to establish medical services and provide technical assistance to the Syrian Citizens in the Israeli-occupied Syrian Golan.
WHO adopted a resolution for this purpose with 56 Countries supporting it, SANA news agency reported.
Syria's Permanent representative in Geneva, Dr. Fayssal al-Hamwi, spoke during WHO's last session about the sufferings of the Syrians under the yoke of the Israeli occupation in the Golan, given the Israeli persistent oppressive measures and the absence of necessary health services, SANA said.
Ambassador al-Hamwi also spoke of the suffering by the Syrian freedom-fighters inside the Israeli jails for more than 25 years and the inhumane conditions and of the Israeli dumping of radioactive nuclear wastes in the Golan and not to mention the Israeli planted landmines, which cost the lives of hundreds of Syrians.
Ambassador al-Hamwi held Israeli occupation full accountability and responsibility for the deterioration of health conditions of the Syrians in the occupied Golan, calling on WHO to dispatch a team as to evaluate health conditions and needs of the Syrian citizens under the yoke of the Israeli occupation.
