Seven faithful visitors were martyred on Monday, as two bomb explosions struck the crowds heading to the holy city of Karbala.

The two bombs went off in the morning in a quick succession in the al-Ibrahimiyah area in eastern Karbala, some 110 km southwest of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, Xinhua news agency quoted police sources as saying on Monday.
