Officials from the Defense Policy Advisory Group met in the occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem) this week to discuss the US support for an Israeli multi-layered missile system as well as other regional developments, United Press International (UPI) reported on Friday.

US Undersecretary of Defense for Policy James Miller and top Zionist Defense Ministry officials, including director-general Udi Shani and the head of the Diplomatic-Security Bureau, Amos Gilad, attended the meeting.

The occupying entity wants to ensure that the US regularly budgets for the missile systems that the Zionist regime plans to purchase during the next years.

In recent months, the Obama administration has granted the Zionist cabinet financial aid to help it purchase more batteries for the Iron Dome missile system.

The US Congress also approved an aid package of about $1 billion to improve the Zionist missile systems.

This comes as the US government has been forced to make major cuts in its own military spending on account of its dire financial situation.

The contribution to the Zionist missile system, sourced from US taxpayer money, is in addition to the approximately $3 billion, which Washington grants the Zionist enemy annually.
