Hezbollah condemned on Wednesday the accusations by the Bahraini regime that the party was involved in some military and security actions in the Gulf Kingdom.
In a statement released by Hezbollah Media Relations, the party said that Al-Khalifa regime was trying to “foist Hezbollah’s name in fabricated security and military actions in the Gulf island.”
“Bahraini authorities insist on going too far in its unjust campaign against Hezbollah through fabricating accusations of an alleged relation with some military and security actions in Bahrain.”
The party condemned the “Bahraini authorities’ accusations of Hezbollah’s involvement in what they alleged they had discovered of explosive devices in several areas in Bahrain.”
“These allegations indicate that the Bahraini authorities are ill-intentioned towards the peaceful movement of the Bahraini people, through portraying it as violent and related to foreigners, in order to justify the violence against people.”
As Hezbollah denounced the Bahraini regime’s accusations, it stressed that the party “supports the peaceful movement of the Bahraini people and their rightful demands.”
