Zionist Defense Minister Ehud BarakThe Zionist Defense Minister Ehud Barak said Friday that the usurping entity is preparing for possible military intervention in Syria should the Syrian government delivers missiles or chemical weapons to Hezbollah.

“I ordered the army to increase the readiness level of intelligence and get prepared for what is necessary in order to be able to study the implementation process," Barak said in an interview with Channel 10 TV.

"We study the possibility of transferring advanced ammunition systems, particularly anti-aircraft missiles or ground to ground rockets, in addition to transferring chemical (weapons) from Syria to Lebanon,” he added.

"The moment it (the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad) starts to fall, we will conduct intelligence surveillance and contact other agencies," he stated.

Addressing a possible Zionist attack against the Islamic Republic of Iran, Barak did not expect an outbreak of war between Iran and the Zionist entity in this summer.

"It's neither just weeks, nor years for the occurrence of war, but we have to solve the Iranian issue,” he stated, pointing out that the Zionist entity does not accept Iran to become an atomic state.

“But all possibilities must remain on the table, including the military option,” he said during a tour in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.

Barak noted however, that the Zionist occupation army is preparing to prevent the flow of refugees fleeing from the occupied Syrian Golan.
