Lebanese President Michel Sleiman asked Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour to send a protest letter against Syria violations to the Lebanese border.
Sleiman "has asked Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour to send a letter to Syria's ambassador to Lebanon, addressing the Syrian authorities, to protest this issue," a statement said.
Sleiman "also asked the army command and the relevant authorities to coordinate... in order to avoid a repetition of these violations once and for all," according to the statement.
Armed groups are repeatedly trying to infiltrate the Syrian border from the Lebanese territories. However, Syrian forces have been trying to chase the groups and repulse them.
